Camping


Campsites are available in a Families Section as well as the General Camping area.
You should ask to be directed to your preferred area when arriving at the Heathcote Park facility.
Reserved Spaces are not necessary as there are plenty of spots available in both areas.
Campsites should be booked and paid for in advance for a fee of $30.00 per campsite (8m X 8m).
Additional toilets will be provided based on the number of camp sites purchased in advance of the event, so please complete this in plenty of time to allow us to cater for your needs.
Campers have access to the Heathcote Park facility from 4.00pm Friday April 22nd 2011 through to 12.00 pm on Monday April 25th 2011


Garages

A limited number of garages are available for hire at the Easter Event at a rate of $200.00 for the weekend.
Garage tenants will have access to the Heathcote Park facility from 4.00pm Friday April 22nd 2011 through to 12.00 pm on Monday April 25th 2011


Competitor T-Shirts

All competitors registered and paid-up for competition prior to April 15th 2011 will receive a complimentary MAYHEM Event T-Shirt.


Licensed Area

Entry to the licensed area is only provided to those individuals who can provide suitable photographic identification to obtain an 18+ wristband.
No alcohol will be served to any individual who is not wearing the appropriate identification.


Buggy Racing

All persons wishing to compete at Heathcote Park for this meeting must be paid-up members of one of the following Associations: VORRA, VORBA, TORC.
Sub-Regs will be prescribed by each of these Associations and will apply to all entrants in the respective class they choose to race in, at this meeting.

By agreement with the Management of Heathcote Park, three Off Road Racing Clubs – VORRA, VORBA and TORC, have agreed to pay their competition entry fees by providing the labour and earthmoving equipment necessary to construct our new Off Road Racing facility. The value of their donation exceeds the amount they would normally have paid in entry fees and we thank them for their enthusiasm and co-operation.

We trust that all of our regular competitors and spectators will help welcome them to the Heathcote Park family and make them feel at home for our Easter Event, you should also take the opportunity to check out some amazing Off Road Racing action as well Phase 1 in the construction of our brand new Off Road Racing facility. In Phase 2 of construction, after the Easter Event, the track will be lengthened and the construction of some additional jumps and water features will be added to the 2.1 km circuit, ensuring that Heathcote Park continues to offer the most spectacular Off Road Racing in Victoria.

Open practice sessions and Exhibition races will be scheduled on each day; and for each Association as required. All vehicles must pass scrutineering at Heathcote Park on each day of competition before being allowed to access the track facility.


 

Prizemoney will be allocated for each Association as follows:
1st Place  $100.00
2nd Place Trophy
3rd Place Trophy



Motorcycle Wheelie Racing

Racing will take place on the Quarter Mile Drag Strip.
A nominal fee of $100.00 will be charged as a competition entry fee.

You may register online and pay your entry fee at the Heathcote Park website to be assured of a start at this race meeting.
Entry fees can be paid on the day of competition, however, as numbers will be strictly limited we cannot guarantee a place for racers who do not register and pay fees in advance.
Racers can compete on one or both days for the single entry fee. Open practice sessions, qualifying and competitions will be scheduled on each day.
All bikes must pass scrutineering at Heathcote Park on each day of competition before being allowed to access the track facility.
Racers will compete in a heads-up racing format (lane vs lane), racing against the clock across the nominated distance for each class of competitor.
Professional Class will race over the standard Quarter Mile, Amateur Class competitors will race over 1/8 Mile.
Racers must complete the prescribed distance whilst balancing the motorcycle on the rear wheel only, a penalty free zone from 0 – 60 feet after the starting line will be monitored to allow greater control of the motorcycle leaving the start line.
If the front wheel of the motorcycle touches the ground before the prescribed finishing point, the rider will be immediately disqualified from the run.
If both riders touch down within the prescribed distance, the first rider to touch down will be deemed the loser.
If the run is in an elimination run, then that rider will be eliminated from competition.
A buy-back after the first round of eliminations will be allowed at a cost of $40.00.

Prizemoney will be allocated for each Class as follows:
1st Place $1000.00
2nd Place $500.00
Semi-Finalists  Trophy
Trophies will also be allocated in the following disciplines: Highchair Wheelie, Go to Whoa & Wheelie Trick Run



Burnout Competition

Burnouts will take place on the Burnout Pad located in the Speedway Complex.
Competitors may enter in one of two categories. Open Category (V8’s) & Hard Chargers (6 Cylinder) Category
A nominal fee of $150.00 will be charged as a competition entry fee.

You may register online and pay your entry fee at the Heathcote Park website to be assured of a start in this race competition.
Entry fees can be paid on the day of competition, however, as numbers will be strictly limited we cannot guarantee a place for competitors who do not register and pay fees in advance. Competitors can compete on one or both days for the single entry fee. Open practice sessions will take place on the Saturday (23/04) and competitions will be scheduled on the Sunday (24/04). Competitors may participate on one or both days for the same entry fee.
Entry fee includes Burnout, Go to Whoa and Powerskid Competitions.
All vehicles must pass scrutineering at Heathcote Park on each day before being allowed to access the Burnout Pad.

Prizemoney will be allocated for each Class as follows:
1st Place Open Class $3000.00    1st Place Hard Chargers $500.00
2nd Place Open Class $1000.00  2nd Place Hard Chargers   $150.00
3rd Place Open Class  $500.00  3rd Place Hard Chargers Trophy
3rd Place – 10th Place  Trophy     4th Place - 5th Place  Trophy
Best Female Overall will also be awarded a $200.00 Cash Prize in addition to any prizemoney that individual may have won.



DYO Buyback Drag Racing Competition

Racing will take place on the Quarter Mile Drag Strip.
A nominal fee of $120.00 will be charged as a competition entry fee.

You may register online and pay your entry fee at the Heathcote Park website to be assured of a start at this race meeting.
Entry fees can be paid on the day of competition, however, as numbers will be strictly limited we cannot guarantee a place for racers who do not register and pay fees in advance.
Racers can compete on one or both days for the single entry fee. Test & Tune and Qualifying sessions will be held on the Saturday, with further qualifying and competitions scheduled on the Sunday. Competitors may participate on one or both days for the single entry fee.
Entry fee includes Burnout, Go to Whoa and Powerskid Competitions.
All vehicles must pass scrutineering at Heathcote Park on each day of competition before being allowed to access the track facility.
Competitors eliminated in the first round of qualifying will have the option to buy-back into the eliminations and will receive a draw in the second round of competitions.
The buy-back fee is set at $50.00

Power Skids

Power Skids will take place over 1/8th Mile on the Quarter Mile Drag Strip.
A Power Skid is deemed to be a rolling burnout completed without the use of a braking mechanism
Entry to the Power Skid competition is free for all competitors entered into the Burnout or Drag Racing competitions.

You must be entered into one of these competitions to enter the Power Skid competition, nominations must be completed at Heathcote Park scrutineering on the day of competition.
Competitors can compete on one or both days. Saturday is open to all competitors for the purposes of practice, with qualifying and finals held on the Sunday.
All vehicles must pass scrutineering at Heathcote Park on each day of competition before being allowed to access the track facility.

Prizemoney will be allocated as follows:
1st Place $500.00


Go to Whoa Competition

The Go to Whoa competition will take place on the Quarter Mile Drag Strip.
Competitors will launch from the Quarter Mile Christmas Tree and brake before the 330ft marker point.
The car coming to rest closest to the 330ft Mile marker point is deemed the winner.
Entry to the Go to Whoa competition is free for all competitors entered into the Burnout or Drag Racing competitions.

You must be entered into one of these competitions to enter the Go to Whoa competition, nominations must be completed at Heathcote Park scrutineering on the day of competition.
Competitors can compete on one or both days. Saturday is open to all competitors for the purposes of practice, with qualifying and finals held on the Sunday.
All vehicles must pass scrutineering at Heathcote Park on each day of competition before being allowed to access the track facility.

Prizemoney will be allocated as follows:
1st Place Open Class $500.00
